Through our 20+ specialist Group companies located around Tameside, east Manchester, we’re one of the largest employers in the area. We provide engineering design, manufacture, tooling, testing and urgent support solutions to safety-critical clients across commercial, nuclear and defence sectors.
Across engineering and business specialisms, we regularly take on over fifty apprentices a year, and while most are school or college leavers, there’s no age limit. We just need you to be enthusiastic and self-motivated with a willingness to work and learn. You’ll train alongside knowledgeable and supportive colleagues; many senior leaders within the Group companies are themselves graduates of our apprenticeship training programmes.

We’re very proud of Miyah Warden, CNC machinist at Victoria Production Engineering, our specialist supplier of precision turned and milled components. At the recent Apprenticeship Awards evening held by Tameside College, Miyah was presented with an award for her development of new working practices and achievements in the business. Her input into the company’s expanded Airbus thread rolling approval was highlighted by the judges in particular.
We were proud to accept the Tameside College Apprenticeship Employer of the Year Award after taking on a wealth of apprentices from them; the majority of whom have gone on to undertake key roles across the Group. We continue to receive a fantastic service from the college as they have a deep understanding of our business.
