Assembly

Hyde Group has developed from being a manufacturer of individual assembly tools, to the provider of integrated tooling solutions such as the A400M Leading Edge and Trailing edge assembly Cell. The Cell consists of a bespoke 5 axis drilling and fettling machine incorporating a post out beam, automatic tool changer, probing system, baluff data tag reader, MQL thro tool lubricant system and tool run out sensor.

The machine tool is mounted on a 150ft track and covers both leading edge and trailing edge assembly jigs. The jigs are fully interlocked with the machine tool ensuring a completely safe working environment for the operator.

The Hyde Group all handling equipment, trolleys for component shipment to the next assembly area and lineside storage facilities.
