This exciting role would involve you taking responsibility for developing new business opportunities with our new and existing customer base.  You’ll be proactively looking to establish relationships with new and existing global OEMs whilst effectively relationship managing our existing customers.   

You will generate new sales orders whilst playing a key role in bid preparation. 

 You will use your engineering expertise to contribute to projects involving the introduction of new products and take an active role in all relevant continuous improvement activities. You’ll also support with bid activity and ensure that any requests to quote are actioned in a timely manner. 

You will be commercially aware and have a good understanding of our competitors’ activity in the market place. 

Naturally, you will be a strong communicator with the ability to negotiate and influence to a high standard.  You’ll also work collaboratively with our marketing manager to contribute towards different marketing material to use with our customers. 


Essential Skills

  • Business Development Skills within a manufacturing environment

  • Sales background within an engineering/toolroom environment

  • Relationship management experience within an engineering/manufacturing environment

  • Proven track record of delivering sales targets

  • Experience of bid preparation

  • Results/target driven

  • Excellent Microsoft skills

  • Strong communicator with ability to deliver sales presentations
