This exciting opportunity would involve you contributing towards the business meeting its quality and delivery targets. You will use your experience to support our continuous improvement program and take an active role in all relevant quality improvement activities.
Naturally, you will support the Quality Manager in dealing with non-conformance, providing constructive feedback and play an active role in supporting NPI to ensure that all QA standards are in place. You’ll deal with any customer queries with regard to quality, actively using these as an opportunity to delight our customers.
Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings
Excellent customer facing skills with a proactive approach to problem solving
Solid engineering background
Proven track record as a Quality Engineer in either Aerospace/Automotive industry
Familiar with a range of problem solving techniques 5 why, fish bone 8D
Understanding of AS9100 and FAIRS process
Experience of various inspection tools and the ability to understand inspection reports
Good understanding of Sheet Metal/welding/fabrication techniques
