This exciting role would involve you being responsible for both in process inspection and final inspection, operating CMM machines using MCOSMOS software. You’ll also inspect our products using conventional instruments such as bore gauge, thread gauge and be familiar with surface finishes.
Ideally, you will have some programming knowledge/experience.
You’ll also use your experience to support internal driven quality sessions in order to improve the knowledge base of our skilled operators and support Material Review Boards when required.
You will be passionate about Quality standards, familiar with ISO9001 standard and be willing to learn and grow through the business.
· You’ll be fully trained in the use of CMM equipment
· Ability to read and interrogate engineering drawings
· You’ll be qualified to minimum City and Guilds
· Understanding of manufacturing processes including CNC Milling
· Experience of using MCOSMOS software ( though not essential as training will be given)
· Some programming experience would be beneficial
