Hyde Coatings Ltd is currently recruiting a Hardness and Conductivity Tester based at one of our bespoke treatment facilities in Stalybridge on a day shift. As a Hardness and Conductivity Tester you will be responsible for carrying out Hardness and Conductivity testing on a range of aluminium aerospace products whilst maintaining the general cleanliness and safety within the building and supporting other areas of the business when required.

Duties include but are not limited to;

  • Hardness testing of aluminium aerospace products to various customer specifications.

  • Conductivity testing of aluminium aerospace products to various customer specifications.

  • Documenting test results, maintaining records and preparing reports as and when required including failure reports when required.

  • Working with the quality department and the production team to manage workflow and discuss testing data and make recommendations for improvements on the section.

  • Supporting all levels of Total Preventative maintenance in the Hardness and Conductivity area.

  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.

  • Supporting other areas of the business for example; demasking, pack and dispatch, etc.

Experience required;

  • Any aerospace skills and previous Hardness and Conductivity experience would be beneficial.

  • All training will be provided.
