As a Press Brake Setter Operator, you will be both setting up and operating the machine, working on aluminium and titanium.  It is essential that you have previous experience of setting and operating an Amada Press Brake. You’ll be a strong team player with a flexible approach to your work.

This exciting role would involve you being responsible for CMM inspection of a wide range of component parts. You will be involved with both first off inspections and you’ll also be carrying out inspections on parts for a final release. You will use your experience to identify ways in which we can improve our inspection processes and contribute towards continuous improvement activities. 

Naturally, you will play a huge part in ensuring quality standards are in place and contribute towards Quality Improvement plans. 

Essential Skills

Essential Skills

  • ·    You’ll be fully trained in the use of CMM equipment
  • ·     Ability to read and interrogate engineering drawings
  • ·     You’ll be qualified to minimum City and Guilds

 

Desirable skills

  • ·        Experience of using MCOSMOS software ( though not essential as training will be given)
  • ·        Some programming experience would be beneficial

Lab Technician

This exciting role would involve you playing a key part in continuous process conformity. You’ll be performing routine and non-routine laboratory tests to ensure that our surface treatments and process solutions meet our customer standards and recording, analysing and interpreting results to your senior manager. 

Naturally, you will have strong Health and Safety knowledge and an excellent understanding of quality control standards.  You will also use your experience to coach your junior colleagues. 

Essential Skills

It is essential that you will have a proven track record of working within a busy surface treatment laboratory. You will also have excellent knowledge of surface treatment chemistry and effluent systems.

Desirable Skills

As we are NADCAP accredited, you’ll have a good working knowledge of the standard
