As a TIG Welder, you’d be tacking up and welding components using Tungsten Inert Gas processes (TIG) using Aluminum, Stainless Steel and Titanium.  These parts would need to be welded to Aircraft standards and specifications. 

Essential Skills

  • ·    Previous experience of TIG Welding
  •      Experience of working with aluminum, stainless steel and titanium
  • ·    Ability to read engineering drawings
  • ·    Ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative

Desirable Skills

·        It would be ideal if you have worked in the Aerospace industry however, this is not essential, as full training will be given.

This exciting opportunity has been created due to business growth, and would involve you working closely with our project team and purchasing team to ensure that jobs are planned in correctly, taking account of our customer’s costs and timescales.  You will be responsible for raising the engineering route cards and will play your part in ensuring jobs are carried out to the required standards.

You’ll use your engineering experience to support with any technical queries and look at job costings, making recommendations where appropriate. You will also raise Bill of materials via our SAP system. Updating and reviewing our data with job updates.  

You will also contribute towards continuous improvement activity and work on process improvement projects.

Ideally, you will have:

·        A proven track record as a planning engineer ideally within an Aerospace environment

·        A recognized engineering qualification

·        Excellent project management and administration skills

·        Ability to read and interrogate engineering drawings

·        Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications

·        Familiar with SAP

·        Ability to prioritise workloads and work in a fast paced environment

This exciting role would involve you playing a major part on in ensuring that goods are delivered to customers on time to our customers, keeping them informed and monitoring work against tight deadlines in a fast paced environment.   You will check in with the shop supervisor, providing daily reports to the production team and attending daily meetings to discuss progress

Naturally, you’ll ensure that parts are delivered in in line with customer specification and quality control standards.  As an Expeditor, you’ll also deal with any concerns and queries that customers have and liaise with our production team to get these resolved.   You will also be a confident communicator, capable of delegating tasks with a mindset of seeing things through to completion.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience of production scheduling/expediting in a manufacturing environment

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll be responsible for ensuring creating manufacturing plans in line with our customer requirements.  You will be responsible for planning the assembly build process and defining condition of supply for detail part manufacture. 

You will manage the New Product Introduction Process and ensure it is followed, ensuring that our customers’ quality and delivery expectations are exceeded. 

You’ll have strong communication skills and be able to articulate manufacturing plans across all levels of the organisation and to our customers.  You will be a hands on problem solver, ensuring any complex manufacturing issues are resolved, having a methodical approach to all tasks.   

You’ll use your experience to lead and participate in continuous improvement activities/kaizen and cost reduction exercises.  You will also investigate non conformances, identify improvement requirements and subsequently generate improvement plans.

 

Ideally, you will have:

  • Experience of working in the Aerospace Industry as a Manufacturing Engineer
  • Strong technical knowledge, including the ability to read and interrogate aircraft drawings
  • Familiarity with Aerospace procedures, specifications and regulations
  • Good understanding of aerostructure assembly processes and assembly planning
  • Good working knowledge of 2D/3D drawing packages and use of Catia V5

Working within a team of 4 people in a large open plan office. This is a very busy position within the Admin team. You will be numerate with excellent computer skills (spreadsheet/excel experience a must) and ideally you will have worked within an office before. You must have an eye for detail and be able to work from your own initiative. You must be the type of person who can deal with more than one thing at once and prioritise your workload. You will be a well presented articulate individual with strong communication skills.

Your duties will include answering the telephones, excellent telephone manner is required as you will be dealing with queries from our Suppliers as well as our Directors and staff at sites.

Typing letters and documents on a daily basis.

Collating employee’s information and updating spreadsheets.ie Drivers Declarations, Hire vehicles etc.

Matching and batching invoices and inputting them onto the Sap system.

Ordering and serving Directors Lunches on a daily basis.

Filing Photocopying and brewing up.

You will be based at the Stalybridge office. Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.45am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.45 am to 4.00pm

This exciting role would involve you leading quality activities within the division to ensure that each business unit has an effective plan in place to achieve its quality targets.    You’ll also manage the audit process across the division to ensure that the Division’s Quality Management System is being adhered to and it meets all regulatory and customer requirements.

Naturally, you will ensure that the Customer’s Complaint Process (receipt, maintaining of registers, creation and distribution of PIR’s and liaising with Business Units /Suppliers to get robust close-out) is operated effectively resulting in reducing levels of non-conformance.

You will also use your experience to participate in projects involving new product introduction, ensuring that our customer requirements are understood and implemented correctly. 

You’ll also manage the day-to-day activities of Hyde Aero Product’s Quality team, ensuring their skillset is developed and all deadlines are met.

Ideally, you will have:

  •   Knowledge of both AS9100 and EASA part 21
  •   Lead Auditor trained
  •   Experience of creating FAIRs as per AS9102
  •   Familiar with ITAR and EAR security requirements.
  •   Working knowledge of SPC, pFMEA’s, MSA (Gauge R & R) & Control Plans
  •   Good knowledge of Precision Engineering (– CNC, CMM,) & metal fabricating techniques
  •   Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the business
  •  Previous managerial experience
