Hyde Coatings Ltd is currently recruiting a Trainee Aircraft Component Paint Sprayer based at one of our bespoke treatment facilities in Stalybridge on a day shift. As a Trainee Aircraft Component Paint Sprayer, you will be trained in the application of paint and coatings to various aircraft components. This is a hands-on, learning-intensive role where you will receive on-the-job training and guidance from our experienced team to develop your skills in the aviation coatings industry.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and masking aircraft components prior to paint application.

  • Learn the process of selecting and mixing paint, primers, and coatings according to specifications.

  • Apply paint and coatings to aircraft components using spray guns and other tools.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Quality Engineer (ideally 5+ years) within aerospace fabrication or welding environments.

  • In-depth knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP special processes, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

  • Strong background in FAIRs, PPAP, RCCA, and auditing (internal or lead auditor qualification preferred).

CMM Inspector

We are looking to appoint a CMM Inspector with industry knowledge and aerospace experience to work as part of our quality team within our machining business at our Denton site.

As a CMM Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting jobs at various stages of the machining inspection process (1st off, final inspection and FAIR inspection) in line with customer requirements (capture specific measurements from customer requirements).

You will also be responsible for providing machine operators timely feedback on product non-conformities, highlighting any training needs to supervisors and assist them with any technical queries.

You’ll use your experience to seek out and drive continuous improvements to identify and resolve issues within your control, also contributing towards wider continuous improvement activities.
