As a CNC Turner, you will work on various modern multi-functional CNC turret lathes with MAZATRON controls. As you will be working on a variety of projects, good multi-tasking skills are required.

Working unsupervised, you will be tasked with setting and producing components from technical drawings to high aerospace standards and specifications, in addition to programming or part programming machinery and running current proven programs.


To be considered for this role, you must have experience of using MAZATRON interfaces to program and set various CNC lathes some with bar feeder and C-axis, knowledge of Mazak or Mori machine will be an advantage.

Additionally, as a CNC Setter, you must be highly self-motivated with proven practical problem solving skills also able to implement TPM and the ability to work independently. You must also have effective interpersonal and English language communication abilities

Knowledge of Thread rolling to aerospace ABP2 standards is an advantage

CMM Inspector

This exciting role would involve you being responsible for CMM inspection of a wide range of component parts. You will be involved with both first off inspections and you’ll also be carrying out inspections on parts for a final release. You will use your experience to identify ways in which we can improve our inspection processes and contribute towards continuous improvement activities. 

Naturally, you will play a huge part in ensuring quality standards are in place and contribute towards Quality Improvement plans. 

 

Essential Skills

  • ·     You’ll be fully trained in the use of CMM equipment
  • ·     Ability to read and interrogate engineering drawings
  •       Experience of using PCDMIS software
  • ·     You’ll be qualified to minimum City and Guilds

 

Desirable skills

·        Some programming experience would be beneficial
