 This exciting role would involve you providing administrative support to one of our project teams. You will play a key role in ensuring that we provide a quality product to our customer and make on time delivery

 You will be a customer focused individual with strong communication skills. 

 Job Description

Responsibilities.

·         Raising orders, Goods receiving, DATA collection, SAP updates. Publishing KPIs

·         Controlling AGS stock and kitting of job packs to achieve start right of production

·         Using our SAP system publishing daily start right results, supplier delivery results and our own Customer delivery results.

·         Collecting DATA transferring into weekly / monthly KPI’s, publishing to SQCD boards and management.

 

Ideally, you will have:

·         Ability to read Customer drawing and processes.

·         SAP Experience

·         Strong administration skills, ideally used in a manufacturing/production setting

·         Microsoft excel and Projects knowledge will be an advantage

·         Good telephone skills.

Accounts Assistant

The Accounts team, are responsible for ensuring all our group companies receive up to date and accurate financial reporting information, and are directly accountable to the Main Board of Directors.

Job Description

Working closely with the accountants and assisting them with various accounting duties.

·         Statement reconciliations

·         Posting journals – e.g. petty cash and wages

·         Nominal Analysis

·         Vat returns

·         Preparing management information

·         Distribution of management information

·         Filing – maintain manual filing system

Essential skills

·         Excellent Microsoft Office Skills

·         Basic experience in an accounts/ office environment

·         Must be self-motivated and able to work on own initiative

·         Strong attention to detail

 

Desirable skills

·         SAP experience but this isn’t essential, as we’ll give full training to the right person

As a mechanical fitter, you’ll be working out of our clean room facility, and be involved with the assembly of our core product.  You’ll perform all assembly operations in line with our processes and procedures and have a keen eye for detail. 

Naturally, you’ll adhere to all the clean room procedures and have a huge part to play in ensuring we offer a quality product to our customers by ensuring your supervisor is informed of any discrepancies/non conformities. 

Essential Skills

·         Time served mechanical fitter with a solid mechanical engineering background

·         Completed a city and guilds qualification or equivalent

·         Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions

·         Ability to work to tight tolerances

Desirable skills

·         Clean room assembly experience would be beneficial

·         Understanding of medical/scientific assembly

Quality Inspector

There is an opportunity for an Inspector at one of our busy Aerospace sites in Dukinfield for the Hyde Group.

As an Inspector, you’ll be involved in both the intermediate and final inspection of sheet metal parts.

Essential skills:

·Experience of using manual tools such as; Verniers, Callipers, Micrometres, Gauges, etc.

·Experience of inspecting sheet metal parts, both intermediate and final inspection

·Time served with a recognised qualification such as City and Guilds or BTEC

·Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret customer specs

Desirable skills:

·Previous Aerospace Experience

·Current certified inspector licence highly desirable

·Familiarity with AS9100 quality standard

·First Article experience in line with AS9102

·Basic understanding of aerospace materials and treatments

·Experience in preparation of inspection plans

·SAP knowledge

NDT Inspector

As an NDT inspector, you will be responsible for the testing of aircraft parts to customer specifications. You will be required to use automated and semi-automated process plant and equipment. 

Naturally, you’ll have a keen eye for detail, have excellent IT skills and have a strong awareness of health and safety requirements.

Ideally you will have:

  •      A proven track record of working within a busy production environment

  • The ability to read and interpret aerospace drawings

  • Qualified to NDT/EN4179 Level 2

  • Other qualifications such as such as Magnetic Particle Flaw Detection will be considered. 

  • Willing to work nightshifts

Naturally you will be a time served apprentice with a recognized qualification such as BTEC/City and Guilds.  You will also have the ability to read and interpret drawings for a wide range of materials and customers.
