This exciting role would involve you leading quality activities within the division to ensure that each business unit has an effective plan in place to achieve its quality targets.    You’ll also manage the audit process across the division to ensure that the Division’s Quality Management System is being adhered to and it meets all regulatory and customer requirements.

Naturally, you will ensure that the Customer’s Complaint Process (receipt, maintaining of registers, creation and distribution of PIR’s and liaising with Business Units /Suppliers to get robust close-out) is operated effectively resulting in reducing levels of non-conformance.

You will also use your experience to participate in projects involving new product introduction, ensuring that our customer requirements are understood and implemented correctly. 

You’ll also manage the day-to-day activities of Hyde Aero Product’s Quality team, ensuring their skillset is developed and all deadlines are met.

Ideally, you will have:

  •   Knowledge of both AS9100 and EASA part 21
  •   Lead Auditor trained
  •   Experience of creating FAIRs as per AS9102
  •   Familiar with ITAR and EAR security requirements.
  •   Working knowledge of SPC, pFMEA’s, MSA (Gauge R & R) & Control Plans
  •   Good knowledge of Precision Engineering (– CNC, CMM,) & metal fabricating techniques
  •   Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the business
  •  Previous managerial experience

Working within a team of 4 people in a large open plan office. This is a very busy position within the Admin team. You will be numerate with excellent computer skills (spreadsheet/excel experience a must) and ideally you will have worked within an office before. You must have an eye for detail and be able to work from your own initiative. You must be the type of person who can deal with more than one thing at once and prioritise your workload. You will be a well presented articulate individual with strong communication skills.

Your duties will include answering the telephones, excellent telephone manner is required as you will be dealing with queries from our Suppliers as well as our Directors and staff at sites.

Typing letters and documents on a daily basis.

Collating employee’s information and updating spreadsheets.ie Drivers Declarations, Hire vehicles etc.

Matching and batching invoices and inputting them onto the Sap system.

Ordering and serving Directors Lunches on a daily basis.

Filing Photocopying and brewing up.

You will be based at the Stalybridge office. Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.45am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.45 am to 4.00pm

Admin/Purchase Ledger Clerk

This is a split role working 3 days in the Admin dept. and 2 days in the Purchase ledger dept. You will be working within teams of 4 people in a large office of approximately 25 people.

You'll be numerate with excellent computer skills (spreadsheet/excel experience would be preferred) and ideally you will have worked within an office before. You must have an eye for detail and be able to work from your own initiative. A clean driving licence is required as you will be using a pool car to visit our other sites when covering the post run. You will be based at the Stalybridge office. Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.45am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.45 am to 4.00pm. You will be a well presented articulate individual with strong communication skills. The salary for this position is National Living Wage.

Your duties will include:

Admin Dept.

  • File invoices and statements/general filing
  • Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements to produce payment run
  • Deal with purchase ledger enquiries via telephone and e mail
  • Process Bankline on a daily basis
  • Cover the post run as and when required delivering mail to our other sites around Greater Manchester
  • Weekly payments to Suppliers.

Essential Skills

As a Manufacturing Team Leader, you will lead and inspire the shop floor to ensure that all components are delivered to customers on time every time and right first time.  Your positive hands on approach will motivate and encourage the team to success.  You’ll also develop and maintain relationships with the senior management team, manufacturing, quality and planning teams in order to address production concerns and escalate any operational issues. 

Naturally, you will organise shop floor housekeeping, ensure all shop floor employees adhere to Health and Safety Regulations and promote a nice clean safe friendly environment.  You’ll also be accountable for maintaining daily KPIs, time sheets, machine check lists and update as necessary.  You’ll participate in equipment preventative maintenance programmes and projects and get involved in shop floor routine operations by handling repairs and assisting management with administrative duties.

You will also use your experience to drive continuous improvement activities, perform and record machine tool capability studies and work with management and engineering to optimise operational productivity. 

It is expected that you will do overtime as and when needed and attend any training which is relevant to your role. 

Ideally you will have:

  •   Experience of a variety of both Milling and Turning machines
  •    Be time served with a recognised qualification
  •    Supervisory experience in a machine shop setting
  •    An understanding of inspection and quality procedures
  •   Ability to motivate and engage a team
  •    Well organised with a structured approach

CNC Turner

As a CNC Turner you will have experience of operating a range of 3 and 4 axis machines with Fanuc controls. You will be comfortable working to tight tolerances of 0.01mm and stainless and titanium materials.  You will also have the ability to set and run machines. 

Naturally you will be a time served apprentice with a recognized qualification such as BTEC/City and Guilds

Essential skills
