As a Manufacturing Engineer (ME), you will be part of a highly skilled team ensures that our client’s requirements are understood and relayed to our production facilities correctly, accurately on to the correct timescale.
As an ME, you must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, understand the client’s condition of supply to create the production routings. Also, as an ME, you will become familiar with our client’s requirements and be able to problem solve (in hour production issues), agree solutions following dialogue with the client as needed or identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Essential Requirements:
Must be committed to working safely and comply with the 5S standards in place.
Be able to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
Previous experience of working as an ME or project manager / project engineer within a manufacturing environment.
Experience of creating manufacturing routings
Ability and technical skills to understand and resolve problems in a formal and proactive manner.
Professional communication skills
Excellent IT skills (use of SAP / other MRP system, general Microsoft products).
The role is office based at our manufacturing facility. The working hours for this role are flexible (around core business hours: 0800-1630).
