North West Aerotooling recently donated to support an Enterprise Week at Tor View School, contributing to an event focused on developing creativity, problem-solving and teamwork among students in a simulation of a ‘real life’ business environment.
Tor View School is a specialist setting that supports learners with a range of needs, including profound and multiple, severe and moderate learning difficulties. Many students also have associated cognitive, communication and physical challenges, including conditions such as Down’s syndrome, autism and cerebral palsy. Enterprise Week forms part of a broader approach to learning, providing an interactive way for students to explore ideas, build confidence and engage with practical activities outside of their usual classroom environment.
The event is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of business and enterprise through hands-on activities.
