We’re proud to report that our Victoria Production Engineering business has spent the last week diligently manufacturing parts for the Ventilator Challenge UK consortium.

The success of a Heckert HEC 800 X5 5-axis machining centre on titanium machining at Hyde Group’s Hollygate Aircraft Components has subsequently led to the installation of a similar Heckert machine at sister Group company Victoria Production Engineering, for processing stainless steel parts.

Hyde Aero Products Group has celebrated the outstanding success of six members of its team who have graduated from the Sharing in Growth Lighthouse Team Leader Academy.

Sadie Kennedy is an Engineering Apprentice at Hyde Details (Fabrications & Welding). Prior to starting her apprenticeship Sadie was working at Aldi, but this was just a stop gap because she wanted to do a more practical, hands-on job. She enrolled onto a short MIG welding course and that is when her passion for welding began.

The first machining centre built by German manufacturer Hermle to be installed at a Hyde Group company has been operating around the clock since April this year (2019) at Stoneswood Precision Components.

Victoria Production Engineering, a Hyde Aero Products company, has recently invested in a new CNC turning centre from Mazak that increases our large turning capacity and multi-tasking capability for medium and large-diameter parts.
